Restore: Changing How We Live and Love released today! This Study Guide is the fruit of almost 25 years of ministry and over 7 years of seeking to understand how God’s story offers hope and help; and it’s breathtaking to see it arrive in such a physical way. God has had His hand in this whole process, and we’re grateful for His kind and faithful leading.

We’re passionate about this work, as we believe it fills a great need in the church--if not, the book wouldn’t have been written! But don’t just take it from us. Here’s what pastors, church planters, and leaders have to say about Restore:

What is unique about Restore is the clarity of the gospel message applied to daily living.
The content, format, and tone…[walks] participants through the transformative implications of understanding and using the gospel to reframe every aspect of their lives in this world.
Restore is unique in communicating towering truths in simple, meaningful, and practical ways that resonate with the deepest longings of the heart.
I would highly recommend others to engage the Restore material so that they can experience the presence of Jesus like never before and therefore find restoration and freedom in Christ!
— -Mitch Thompson, Executive Pastor, The Avenue Church, Delray Beach, FL
In Restore, I tasted the sweetness of a fellowship and intimacy I had not experienced before with people and with God. I also witnessed others be transformed by the power of God’s Word applied to the details of their lives.
— Jane Kratz, Director of Soul Care, Hope Church, Johannesburg, South Africa
God used the grace-filled structure of Restore to reframe the most painful chapters of my story in the most beautiful of ways.
— Alan, PCA Minister
Everyone from our Restore group profoundly experienced the Lord’s love for them. Each of us in the church plant core team grew in our understanding of the gospel – not just what the good news is, but how we’re being redeemed by His story of love. I am confident that the Lord will use it to change your life and the life of your church.
— Matt Guertin, Lead Pastor, Local Church, Cleveland OH
I have found Restore to be an excellent, thoroughly biblical, and gospel-centered tool that has helped me personally see and savor God more by helping me see my own unique story through the lens of God’s story. Restore has already begun to influence and shape our leadership team and our vision and strategy for care and discipleship. I look forward to continuing to help massage these rich, gospel-saturated principles more deeply into the life and DNA of our church in the near future.
— John Riggs, Associate Pastor, Trinity Community Church, Abington, PA
Restore does not ignore our reality nor does it allow for endless introspection. Instead, it creates space to face our realities and bring them before God, allowing Him to reframe how we view our story in light of His story. Restore gives participants opportunities to experience the intimate healing and redeeming hand of God.
— Crystal Sridhar, Restore Ministry Leader, Sojourn Church Midtown, Louisville, KY

Throughout these next weeks, our “Why Restore?” series will lay out reasons why Restore is needed; but today, we are simply grateful. We are grateful for the local churches who have supported and refined our work. We are thankful for the team at New Growth Press. We are most grateful for God, who shepherds our souls with his unfailing love.

May we follow Christ on his paths of righteousness as he redeems and restores us.

In Restore: Changing How We Live and Love, pastor and author Robert K. Cheong shows us that because we have been united to Christ, we can draw near to God, enjoy his love, and live with new patterns and life rhythms. This thirteen-week study guides participants through creating their own storyboards that will connect them to God’s overarching story and help them to rethink, reframe, and move forward. As participants discuss, do response activities, and learn to meditate on God’s Word, they will reconnect with God and reignite their love for him and others.
