Announcing the Restore Fall Book Study!
Autumn is a season of change—of old stories become new again, of slipping into familiar patterns of work and school. But with the familiarity comes a chance at newness as well—this is a new season. 2020 has been an overwhelming year. There have been so many fears, distractions, and struggles. But God loves to redeem broken stories. What better time then, to jump into a study of Restore together?
You have a unique story—a way of weaving together past experiences, relationships, and current joys and sorrow s to make sense of you lives. But if we live our stories without looking to the Master Storyteller, we get lost and confused. Changing deeply help patterns of living and loving happens as we find our place in God’s great story and learn to trust his love and care for us.
We’re going to spend the next 7 weeks digging into Restore: Changing How We Live and Love. Over those seven weeks, we’ll see how God’s love can transform our stories, and bring restoration and rest to our hearts. We want to go from being overwhelmed by life to being overwhelmed by God’s love—and we want you to join us!

Starting tomorrow, and every Thursday after that, we’ll share special lesson insights here on the blog as we work through the Restore study guide together. Robert and Karen are also filming short videos sharing their heart and insights behind each lesson—with some laughter thrown in as well! To access those, join our private email list. When you do, you’ll also get updates on the work GCM is doing, as well as special insights into our services.
God doesn’t want us to be overwhelmed by our struggles. Our hearts were never meant to be dry and lonely. God wants us to experience his love, and to let our stories intersect with his.
